About Us
We are a group of caring individuals whose lives have been directly impacted by a brain tumor diagnosis. We have established a foundation called the St. Louis Brain Tumor Research Foundation. Our goal is to increase the awareness of the need for brain tumor research and to back that awareness with financial support for funding of research efforts. The goals of brain tumor research are to find new successful treatments, refine existing ones, improve the quality of life for today’s patients and discover what causes brain tumors in order to prevent them.
We are in the third year of our efforts and planning our third fundraising run. The Steps For Research Run is scheduled for May 17, 2008 at Tower Grove Park. As with most fundraisers, we are run entirely by volunteers. We are always looking for individuals who are interested in joining our cause.
